Abstract

The study presents the relationship between the linguistic norm as a metalanguage of retention, public discourse and the cognitive passport of the linguistic personality. The literary norm is a cross-section of language and cognition in the projection of communicative exchange. The illustration as a miniature is the discourse of the artist – whether in a work or in a public presentation. The relationship between language and its producing power, cognitive institutionality, is expressed in our ability to create meaning. The turnover of linguistically explicit values through the phenomena of `reading`, `writing`, `listening`, `speaking` and vice versa represents the cognitive passport and linguistic memory of every speaker of the language, of every linguistic consciousness. Deficits in any of the positions in this tetrad of phenomena refer to verbal aggression or relative functional illiteracy. Any risk of not taking into account cognitive verification creates some communicative barriers or misunderstandings, which at a minimum lead to contradictions. The intersection between conceptualization as essential semantics (meaning of the word) and categorization as a precise linguistic norm is precisely the cognitive perspective of the native speaker of the language, who presents and represents it as a unit of communicative self-value. Every grammatical realization translates the concept categorically into the functionality of the norm. Communicative architecture deploys cognitive creativity, provided by reflection as a technology of our conscious thinking, as a cognitive perspective, provided by the reception of other conscious thinking – this time, however, in cognitive potency.
